October Journaling
1. Busy day, Bible study, errands, my
cousins arrived for the night, a funeral for the widow of our first pastor; he
baptized me and married us. Then making snacks for our guests. I just received
my latest book, Curious Minds Word Search.
2. Helping my mom pack to go to my
aunt’s in London for a week or two. So quiet in the house now. My pain is gone
for most of the day now. Sold three pumpkins to my cousin. Finally, no more
nerve pain.
3. In September I sold 47 copies of The
Legacy Project. It’s starting to get noticed.
4. Church, and then we took out the
speaker for lunch. They are missionaries to Thailand. It is missions’ week. I
got a new iPhone 17.
5. Went to a medical appointment.
Crocheting many pumpkins and a snake.
6. My son-in-law’s birthday (the one in
Canada).
7. Chiro appointment and errands. I
wrote a grade six geography primer which can also be used by those preparing
for the Canadian citizenship exam. I also made a kindle copy and put it on
kindle unlimited so people can read for free and I get a cut for every page
read. I also plan to publish it in French and on audio.
8. Seeing my naturopath. He wants to get
my sleep in order.
9. Prepping for our family Thanksgiving
dinner in Hamilton, our daughter is hosting. My mom and her sister from Finland
have been visiting my aunt for a week so far.
10. Thanksgiving dinner in Hamilton.
Very nice. I brought mashed potatoes and blueberry squares and pumpkin pie.
11. Church, then we took the speaker and
his family out for lunch, as well as a new couple.
12. Happy Thanksgiving!
13. Housekeeper today.
14. In Hamilton helping out. Making
dinner.
15. Bible study this morning online from
home.
16. MRI of my right hip and leg to find
out why it’s so weak. It took months to get this appointment. Picking up my
aunt from London.
17. Pumpkinville outreach event at
Greenwood Conservation Area. Being on my feet for more than six hours triggered
that leg pain again.
18. Church. I have a bad cold.
19. Helping in Hamilton again. I brought
my grandson a copy of the grade six Canadian geography book I wrote. My aunt
returns to Finland tonight. I had to stay overnight even though I wasn’t
prepared to, because my eyes were so sore and my night vision isn’t good at the
best of times.
20. I slept for most of the afternoon.
21. Home day, crocheting and writing. Made
two teddy bears. Ugg, this pain!
22. Slept two hours. Doing Bible study
online from home again.
23. No pain today, thank God. Beginning
edits on my Joseph story.
24. No pain, so I went to the dollar
store.
25.Church. Pastor appreciation day.
26. Costco order. Making tacos for young
adults this week on Friday.
27. Pain clinic but I’m afraid to get
the back injections lest it trigger that severe pain again.
28. Home day. I like those.
29. Bible study.
30. Making tacos and cupcakes for the
young adults tonight.
31. Going to IKEA to hide away during
Hallowe’en. Bought some lighting for our dark living room and a colour change
for our ensuite bathroom.
